I was born Jordana Harris, and was raised in Michigan, but have been in the Tampa Bay area since 1987. Considering I didn't come from a "big city",  I continue to be amazed that I was in the company of some of the most talented musicians that I've ever met, to this day. I began my music training, piano at 5. Percussion lessons began at 8. Formal voice lessons with Janet and Robert Klump began at 12. They now live in the NYC area, and many of their other students are seen on and off Broadway, a testament to the exceptional training they provided. At 15, Mary Chartier - a wonderful piano teacher and jazz pianist - invited me to sit in at one of her piano bar gigs, and the rest was history. (Interesting side note - Mary's daughter is Julie Bonk - Norah Jones' jazz piano teacher in Dallas, TX.)  I soon became a regular in the local jazz music scene. She also turned me on to the world of "wedding music". Right away I recognized what a wonderful privilege it was to be allowed to contribute my talent to complement the most important day of a person's life.

Many years, and many performances, later, I am now seen at weddings, funerals, corporate events, holiday parties, music festivals, church programs, and more. I am a lead vocalist and keyboard player at First United Methodist Church, Pinellas Park, honored to be able to praise my Father in Heaven with the talent that he has so graciously given me. I am also fortunate to have the acquaintance of some fantastic musicians, and am thrilled with every opportunity that I have to bring them together to create a unique, quality sound.

I hope that I will have a chance to show you what I can contribute to your event. I believe the testimonials in this site will bear witness to my abilities. I truly look forward to hearing from you.
